Hiya folks!
So I’m trying to get back into the simming of things. I was a little pissed off that wordpress deleted my shooflee blog. I was unable to recover those sims that I created. I did manage to find all of my old movie character sims. I gotta see about getting those put up for download again. Anyway… There was about 200+ pose boxes of all languages released around the net. I got most of them I hope but, I think it would take a billion years to look through all of them. I picked up a few new nifty hacks and mods but, mostly shiny cluttery stuff. I was kind of sad to see some of my favorite places were gone but, I’m not surprised since it’s been a couple years and Sims (pause for yawn) 3 is out now. It looks like towards the end of 2009 was the year of defaults. So many awesome default replacements for things and I love that. I don’t particularly like having to download new clothes just fixed/replaced maxis ones so I’m a big fan of defaults. I’ve been surfing youtube for a couple weeks. I was looking for new sims machinima. When I say new I mean something that hasn’t been put out there yet. I did find a few great story tellers that are still at it but, everything is pretty much the same as before I left. That doesn’t mean anything other than a lot of people are gone. The good ones and the bad ones. Since that is the case. I don’t mind things being quieter now. I am more than willing to return to what I enjoy doing on my own despite whether or not anyone is around. I always liked getting my message across the net and touching people who didn’t even play the game. That was always the best part of it.
As for The Sims 3. I pretty much feel the same as everyone else who isn’t jumping on that wagon. I posted my feelings about it on my youtube page. I looked for Sims 3 machinima too but, sadly I only saw two nice movies and the rest were videos that were created by people who work for Electronic Arts so it’s like a four minute advertisement with a bunch of neat little tricks they haven’t released to the rest of us. You can easily tell who they are by the videos, profile, and the subscriptions. Example: SimmingWoman : Lots of nice Sims 3 machinima, only subbed to official EA pages. There you go. LOL!
Anyway… I have many things swirling my head. My downloads folder is already bursting and I’ve been building and creating characters. We’ll see what happens in the next few weeks.
You’re so saying the truth! The Sims 3 has unrealistic sims, Hardly customizable objects and poor camera works due to the awful speed of the game(maybe only on my computer).
The Sims 2 is so much better at movie making and there are already thousands of hacks out there.

Thank you Looky! I’ve got my game open now in fact. I just got my first set built and I’m reorganizing my collections folder. I forgot how much work it is but, it’s been a year so it’s fun again!
Shawnnnn…. I thought you were on vacation? I will have to use your voice some day when everyone else has finished. XD

And the “abroad” part of my vacation is sadly over (I got back on Wednesday), but I told everyone not to expect me back in action until the 14th — if for no other reason than to have a few days to decompress and not deal with anything voice acting-related.
